We send you a design proof. Nothing is printed until you're happy, however many tweaks that takes.
4. We print & ship
Printed and dispatched as soon as you approve, framed, canvas, rolled or fine art.
4 print & frame options
Frames come in black, white or natural. Classic frames include a fine art print; float frames include premium canvas.

About this print
Personalise it with your own text and book colour, and choose up to 6 adult chimps and 6 child chimps for the family motif at the bottom of the print.
Let us know your family setup in the notes (for example Mum, Dad, Grandma, Grandad, 1 daughter and 1 son) so we can arrange the chimp motif. We usually use red hearts for female chimps and blue hearts for male chimps, but we can make them all red or all blue to suit your family.
This print series draws inspiration from Harland Miller and the Connor Brothers.
Our book covers pay homage to the iconic classic book cover designs crafted by Tauchnitz and Hans Mardersteig. Each cover is reproduced to match the original specifications and Mardersteig design principles used by Penguin Books, making them a timeless addition to any decor, vintage or modern.
How personalisation works
If you choose the proof option
- Tick the box to personalise your print.
- Let us know the text you'd like on each part of the print.
- Choose how many adult and child chimps you'd like in the motif at the bottom of the print.
- Choose your size.
- In the notes, tell us your family setup (for example Mum, Dad, 1 daughter and 1 son) so we can arrange the chimp motif. We usually use red hearts for female chimps and blue hearts for male chimps.
- We creatively incorporate your text and requests into the artwork, arranging them in an aesthetically pleasing way.
- We email you a digital proof to review. Let us know if any edits are needed before you approve your design. Revisions are unlimited and free of charge.
- Once you approve, we print and package your one-of-a-kind artwork and send it to you or your gift recipient.

Revisions
We're happy to make unlimited tweaks to your personalised art, all included in the price. Please allow 24 hours for each round of revisions. We're usually out of the office at weekends, so those days don't count towards our turnaround time.
Turnaround time
We'll email you a proof within 1 business day of your order (Monday to Friday). If you approve before 1pm, we ship the same day.
Please note
- If we don't hear back within 7 days of sending your proof, we'll assume you're happy and ship your order.
- A frame is not included unless you choose a framed option.
- Colours on your screen may look slightly different to the printed artwork.
- Refunds aren't accepted for personalised items once we've begun the design process.

If you plan to stretch your canvas over a frame and need a border, please contact us via live chat or email before ordering so we can advise on sizing. For example, for a 20x20 inch rolled canvas we recommend a 2.5 inch border, so the canvas fits a 17.5 inch square frame.
Packaging
Sizes 4x6, 5x7, A6, A5 and A4 are packed in an acid-free protective sleeve inside a hardboard-backed rigid envelope. Larger sizes (11x14, 11x17, 16x20, 20x24, 20x30, 24x34, 24x36, A3, A2, A1 and A0) are rolled in an acid-free sleeve inside a rigid postal tube. The sleeve protects your print and makes it easy to remove from the tube and flatten, ready to hang.
Framing
We offer traditional framing and float framed canvas on all of our prints at an additional cost. Choose your print finish above to add framing. Frames come in black, white and natural.

We estimate 2–5 business days worldwide for framed prints and 3–7 business days worldwide for float framed canvas prints.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed, There may delays if your item is held by customs.
Refunds/cancellations
We do not accept refunds for personalised items or framed prints. If your item arrives damaged we will send a replacement. We will ask for photo evidence of the damage to the print or frame.
Our framing service is a custom service so it not part of our return policy.
Import/customs duties Information
UK Customers - Import/customs duties
We are based in the UK and all of our prints and framed for UK customers will be shipped from our studio in Staffordshire. There are no customs duties for UK customers.
USA Customers - Import/customs duties
Prints and framed prints will be shipped from within the USA. This means your order will arrive within just a few days and there are no customs duties to be paid.
EU Customers - Import/customs duties
We ship prints and framed prints to the EU from the Netherlands so that customers do not have to pay customs duties on their orders within the EU. On rare occasions when we can not ship from the EU your print will be shipped from the UK and there may be customs due that are payable by the customer.
Australian Customers - Import/customs duties
Prints and framed prints will be shipped from within Australia. This means your order will arrive within just a few days and there are no customs duties to be paid.
New Zealand Customers - Import/customs duties
Prints and framed prints will be shipped from Australia. This means your order will arrive within just a few days and there are no customs duties to be paid
UAE Customers - Import/customs duties
Prints and framed prints will be shipped from the UK or Australia to the UAE, Import duties are only usually due on orders over 3000 AED however we have seen instances where the UAE has charged import duties.
Canadian Customers - Import/customs duties
Prints and framed prints will be shipped from the within Canada or from USA or UK to the Canada, Import duties are only usually due on items over $60 CAD import duties are usually 5% of the value of the item. Most orders will be shipped from Canada with zero customs duties
Digital Files
Digital goods are emailed immediately after you approve your artwork.
Lost Mail Policy
Lost mail claims will not be accepted until after 5 working days after the due delivery date for UK domestic orders and 10 working days after the due delivery date for all international orders. If your parcel is declared lost by royal mail we will ship you replacements prints.
Tracking numbers will be provided for all orders over £25.
Export duties may be payable if you order outside of the UK. As with all international orders the duties are to be paid by the purchaser. We recommend that customers please check before they place an order if they will be liable for import taxes.

These guys were very patient with me in trying to match the colour of the wall. I gave an example of the colour and hey presto! It’s hung slightly high but it’s covering up an old intercom unit which sits proud, baring in mind this was the main purpose. I’ve added wood around the frame to make it deeper so there’s no gap between the wall and the art work. I love it! Well done team.
